CLINICAL PILATES & REHAB GYM

A new initiative to the Movement Theory clinic in 2023 is self-guided access to our rehab space consisting of Reformer Pilates, Weights & Functional Cable Machine.

This self-guided approach allows our current clients a chance to access all of our rehab services, whilst under our care.

Rehab Gym access will be granted to clients who are currently receiving Physiotherapy intervention for a particular issue ie. lower back pain; your therapist will then assess & prescribe a rehab program consisting of either Reformer Pilates, Weights or Functional Cable Machine.

If you’ve done generic / conventional group pilates; you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the tailored Clinical Pilates approach.

Clinical Pilates works as a form of movement-based treatment, without having to work on both sides of the body. We can identify a ‘bias’ side & direction, that will help to treat only your limiting side & direction (ie Left sided extension bias). This gives us a more refined treatment approach.

Once our therapist feels that the client is competent, they will be able to access our gym via our online booking system.

Our philosophy at Movement Theory is that together, we can be #movebetter.

Come in for a full body musculoskeletal assessment, where we use a series of tests to find your weaknesses and use a movement-based approach to target & rehabilitate those specific areas.
